" Zuzulassen,

dass etwas,

das ich nicht kontrolliere,

sich selbst erlauben darf,

das ist meine Kunst.

In meiner Arbeit geht es

sehr stark um den Prozess.

Obwohl sie zum größten Teil

abstrakt sind,

gibt es eine zugrunde

liegende visuelle Ordnung,

die sich allmählich

herauszubilden scheint.

Indem ich intuitiv arbeite,

begebe ich mich in ein

Reich des Unbekannten,

in dem es mehr ein Folgen

als eine wirkliche Wahl gibt.

Es ist eine unmittelbare

Erfahrung,

ein sich selbst auferlegter,

sich wiederholender Prozess

des Aufbauens,

der Zerstörung,

des Auslöschens

und Übermalens.

Es gibt ein gewisses Chaos,

durch das sich jedes

Werk entwickelt.

Aber bei jeder

Wiederbelebung gibt

es die Markierungen,

die Narben des

Vorangegangenen.

Ich habe eine Beziehung

zu diesen Feinheiten,

diesen Empfindlichkeiten,

ich behalte einige,

verstecke einige,

aber ich weiß sehr wohl,

dass das alles schon

einmal da war."

to allow itself,

My work is

very much about process.

Although they are mostly

abstract,

there is an underlying

visual order,

that seems to gradually

emerge.

By working intuitively,

I enter a realm of the unknown.

A realm of the unknown,

in which there is more of a

following

than a real choice.

It is an immediate experience,

a self-imposed,

repetitive process

of building,

of destruction,

of erasure and overpainting.

There is a certain chaos

through which each

work evolves. But with

every revival there are

the marks,

the scars of what has gone

before.

I have a relationship with

these subtleties, these

sensitivities, I keep

some, hide some,

but I know very well

that it's all been there before.
